SERVICES:
Feel free to contact me for collaborations on:
Style Guides and Branding: Your brand's style guide is it's visual culmination. It's where typography, photography, graphics and illustration intersect to create a cohesive statement. I've worked on exploratory and execution of style guides for world reknowned brands such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob Squarepants, and I specialize in how these branding guidelines apply specifically to product, packaging and retail.
Commercial and Editorial Illustration: Vector and bitmap, by hand and on the computer, I've worked with companies such as WWE, Paramount and Foreign Affairs Magazine to create impactful illustrations for use in editorial, promotions and advertising.
Print and Poster Art: Primarily using illustration as a tool for design, my pop culture inspired poster designs can frequently be seen in Gallery 1988 in LA, for licensed movie poster companies such as Grey Matter Art and Bottleneck, and for special promotional events for production companies such as Paramount, Sony, Fox, Bad Robot, SyFy and CBS. I've also worked with bands such as Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Street Dogs on gig posters.
Apparel Graphics: Understanding that graphic design for clothing needs to work on an organic three-dimensional form is an often overlooked part of design for apparel specifically. Pairing that with staying current on fashion and style trends, makes working with apparel graphics more than just adding art to a t-shirt. In my years working in the athletic industry, I've traveled for market and trend research around the world extensively, as well as kept up to date with trend forcasting services such as WGSN. I've worked on design direction and graphic execution on apparel for athletic brands such as CrossFit, UFC and Spartan Race to seamlessly merge graphic form with physical function.
Hard and Soft Good Consumer Product Design: Bringing a product to life is more than about just a mechanical drawing on a computer screen. Paying attention to key details such as materials, processes, and manufacturing is important for having a 'first feel' or initial tangible impression. I've done extensive factory travel to the world's manufacturing epicenters in Hong Kong as well as Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Fuzhou China to oversee production of footwear, sports equipment, accessories and apparel. I've worked on product collections for Major League Lacrosse, NFL, MLB, NHL and Reebok as well as children's educational toys and novelty home products for Fred and Friends and Club Earth.
