Gallery 1988 asked me to create a poster for the show True Detective, which is now one of my all-time favorite shows. On sale tomorrow. There’s a lot of symbolism in this piece, that hopefully fans of the show will appreciate. I decided to hand-draw it so it feels like something out of Detective Cohle’s notebook. There’s some obvious Lovecraftian/Cthulu references in this, which are quite prevalent in the show.
